The Aviation Chapter aims to identify the most promising technological routes for decarbonizing the aviation industry, from hydrogen and SAFs to new aircraft designs, and see how far we can push each technology and drive innovation harder. Additionally, the chapter zooms in on the non-CO2 effects of aviation to ensure that climate integrity is maintained on the road to a net-zero 2050.
